There is so much information available on the Internet that it is
almost
impossible to stay on top of it all. Fortunately, the following sites
can help:
Directories Directories and subject trees organize Internet sites by subject area. Keep in mind that they will only be able to show you the sites that they have been notified about.
Search Engines Search Engines let you query a database of sites and documents for key words, letting you know all the places where those words appear. Some meta engines query several databases simultaneously.
Web Freeware and Shareware
Freeware and shareware software programs are available that help you use the information and files available on the Internet.
